ING Honors and Encourages Excellence in Education
As part of our commitment to educators, ING honors and encourages excellence in education through a number of programs.
One of those programs is the ING Unsung Heroes Award Program. The ING Unsung Heroes® program recognizes those classroom heroes who take teaching to new heights and make learning fun. Each year, ING presents 100 grants totaling $240,000 to help fund innovative classroom projects nationwide.
Another program is the ING Run for Something Better Awards. ING wants to help people achieve not just financial fitness, but physical fitness as well. We work with local communities to create school-based running and fitness programs, and distribute grants through the ING Run for Something Better Awards. This community partnership introduces young people to the joys and challenges of running and shows them how exercise can help them achieve good health.
