The Value of Membership

"I could not have survived 30 years in school business without the support I've received from ASBO. No matter how much you may think your problem is unique, it's not. I've always found support from colleagues facing the same issues no matter where they work, and I've shared solutions. We have a lot to learn from one another, so I value my memberships in Tri-State ASBO, New Hampshire ASBO, Vermont ASBO, and ASBO International."

Strategic Partner Spotlight

Steve Bissey, National Director for State and Local Government

“Great things in business are never done by one person; they’re done by a team of people.” -- Steve Jobs

Steve Bissey believes this quote describes Ricoh’s new strategic partnership with ASBO International and emphasizes how the organizations can work together to share best practices, foster learning that will ultimately create an impact, and develop the future of the K–12 environment.

As the national director for state and local government, Bissey oversees a dedicated team of area managers who support SLG and K–12 clients across the United States. Their area of expertise focuses on sharing best practices among school districts as they relate to Ricoh’s innovative and extensive portfolio.

In addition, the team is responsible for developing contracting vehicles that include state contracts and cooperative agreements that streamline and, in many cases, eliminate the need for cumbersome bidding.

“We look forward to supporting you, your initiatives, and positively impacting your successes,” Bissey says.
