ASBO International Named Finalist for Association Media & Publishing’s EXCEL Awards
Reston, VA – May 21, 2018 – The Association of School Business Officials International (ASBO) was announced recently as a finalist in Association Media & Publishing’s Annual EXCEL Awards, which recognizes the best and the brightest in association media and publishing. ASBO International’s Accents enewsletter was recognized in the category of Digital Newsletter Redesign, after a content and design overhaul that launched in 2017.
ASBO International is proud be honored among other leaders in association media and publishing, where 300 finalists were selected from 841 entries. Siobhán McMahon, ASBO International Chief Operations Officer, says, “ASBO’s marketing team is constantly looking for ways to create member benefits that truly connect school business officials to their peers and to the profession at large, so bringing relevant resources and member stories to the forefront of the publication was key in the Accents redesign.” She says that ASBO International considers the recognition as motivation to continue improving member resources, one publication at a time.

The award winners will be announced and displayed at the 38th EXCEL Awards Gala on June 25, 2018 in Washington, D.C., as part of the 2018 AM&P Annual Meeting.
