The highest honor in school business, recognizing outstanding and unique contributions made by school business professionals to their districts and the profession.

- Resume
- Career history and achievements
- Educational and professional credentials and awards
- Publications and presentations related to school business
- Professional activities with ASBO International, ASBO Affiliates, and other organizations
- Letters of Recommendation (Two Required)
- All applications must include two letters of recommendation.
- If you are self-nominating, you must provide two letters of recommendation.
- If you are being nominated by another individual, the nominator's letter serves as one recommendation, and you must provide one additional letter of recommendation.
- Recommendation letters should address the following:
- How has the individual contributed to the advancement of the school business profession?
- How has the individual demonstrated the expertise, commitment, and character to be an Eagle Award recipient?
- Essay Questions (300 words maximum each)
- How have you contributed to the advancement of the school business profession?
- How would receiving this award influence others, and how would it impact your career?
- What is the best advice you have been given, and how has that advice shaped your career journey?
The deadline to apply for the 2026 cycle was June 1, 2026.
